The newly renovated family apartment is located in a historic mining house, at the end of the village of Cave del Predil, on the first floor.
It has a capacity of up to 6 people and is very well equipped for any outdoor and relaxing stay in our wilderness of the Julian Alps - ALPI GIULIE 💚🤍❤️
Cave del Predil
The mountain village Cave del Predil is the last village on Italian territory towards the Slovenian Bovec and the Soča River. It is only 8 km from Tarvisio and 10 km from the Sella Nevea ski resort. It is only 2 km from Lago del Predil.
Cave del Predil has a rich mining history from the times of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. The Mine of Emperor Franz Joseph and its quarry are a significant landmark of the village. Today it is closed, but there is a beautiful mining museum in it, which is definitely worth a visit.
The village has one very good pizzeria - Locanda del Minatore, which is open during the winter and summer seasons. There is a small shop on the square where you can buy the most necessary things. For shopping, you can drive to nearby Tarvisio, where there are 3 supermarkets and several great restaurants, cafes and wine bars.
